Dear Community members,
A wonderful opportunity to accumulate infinite merit this holy month that commemorates the Buddha’s birth, enlightenment and parinirvana (entering into nirvana-death)
During this holy month, let us engage in virtuous activities for the benefit of all sentient beings. To that end, we we would like to welcome you to the following events, organized specially for the holy month of Sakadawa. We are organizing reading of the Kagyur Tengyur Scriptures, can-food donation drive in partnership with West Contra Costa Food Bank and preparing a lunch for a shelter home in Richmond. We, therefore, request our members to take part in these altruistic endeavors.
If there are any groups wanting to gather at the center to prostrate, recite mani or engage in other merit-earning activities including sponsoring/offerings during Saka Dawa, please contact our board members.
