Rally for Tibet in Washington DC – Monday, October 7, 2013
To implement on the resolution of the Tibetan Associations’ conference, held in New York in July 2012, there is a need for a wide initiative for the Tibetan cause by every single Tibetan-American in the US. The core group of ICT, ITN, two NA Representatives, Capital Area Tibetan Association and Tibetan Association of NY & NJ will organize a March from the Lincoln Memorial to the White House to call on the US lawmakers to back the cause of Tibet and to initiate a discussion in the Senate.
Each and every single Tibetan living in the US is requested to participate in this March either by being physically present in Washington DC on Monday, October 7 or make a financial contribution of not less than $10.00 each.
Efforts to seek messages from respective State Representatives must be made and all Tibetans must enlist support from their representatives through individual petition/participation.
